Image Magic You can find some nice gifs at these two sites. Annes Place and Emma's I was playing with gifs again, and decided to try comp threshold. I loved the look, hope you do, too. NOTE - the color of the darker area of the image will depend on the color you choose at the beginning. And you must use a gif with a transparent bg. If you are not sure if it's transparent, take it to a color grabber and check. If the gif is cropped real close, you should add a border of at least 10x10. Use none in the color bx, under decorate. Also, when you get to the comp part, pay attention to the rotate instructions. This doesn't work if you don't rotate. You end up with a washed out look. You can use the smallest number -1 or +1, but ya must use it. CCP the url for the indian corn. Enter url at IM, and then scroll to the paint function Choose RESET, COLOR, color = #FFCC99. Point the arrow to the center of the image and click. Resize to 400x400! Go to composite and choose THRESHOLD from the drop bx. Comp the gif: NorthWest +30+0 ROTATE -35 <-- this stays the same throughout. Then comp again @ the same parameters, changing the dropbx to OVER. Comp again - THRESHOLD NorthWest +30+90 Then comp again @ the same parameters, changing the dropbx to OVER. Comp again - THRESHOLD NorthWest +30+180 Then comp again @ the same parameters, changing the dropbx to OVER. It should look like this after the last comp. You can use it like this if you like the colors. I wasn't nuts about the orangey color, so I cropped it off and then added a border to match the lighter brown. Annotate the words and your name in choice of font and color.
